For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” mean any person who visits, browses or interacts with the Website or otherwise communicates directly with Trajectory.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and other applicable Website policies.

By using the Website or voluntarily providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law and any consent that may be required from you.

Trajectory currently uses www.trajectoryindia.com primarily for:

  • product discovery;

  • product information;

  • brand communication;

  • marketing and advertising;

  • customer and business enquiries; and

  • directing visitors to independent third-party marketplaces where products may be purchased.

When you select a button such as “Buy Now,” “Buy on Amazon,” “Buy on Flipkart,” “Shop Now,” or another similar purchase button, you may be redirected to an independent e-commerce marketplace, website or application.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy:

“Third-Party Marketplace” means Amazon, Flipkart or any other independent e-commerce marketplace, platform, website or application through which a visitor may purchase a Trajectory product after being redirected from our Website.

Once you leave our Website and enter a Third-Party Marketplace, that marketplace independently processes information relating to your marketplace account, checkout, payment, order, delivery, cancellation, return, replacement and refund in accordance with its own privacy notice, terms and policies.

Trajectory does not process your marketplace checkout or payment through www.trajectoryindia.com.

This Privacy Policy governs information processed by Trajectory. It does not govern the independent processing activities of a Third-Party Marketplace.

As of the date of this Privacy Policy, this may include, to the extent applicable, the Information Technology Act, 2000, including Section 43A, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

India has also notified the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, provisions of which have staggered commencement dates.

We will update our practices and this Privacy Policy as additional provisions become applicable to us.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to represent that a statutory provision has become applicable before its legally notified commencement date.

5. SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies when you:

  • visit or browse our Website;

6. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT DIRECTLY FROM YOU

Depending upon how you interact with us, information voluntarily provided by you may include:

  • name;

  • email address;

  • telephone or mobile number;

  • city, state or general location;

  • company or organisation;

  • designation or job title;

  • authenticity concerns;

  • reviews, testimonials or feedback voluntarily submitted to us;

  • marketing preferences; and

  • other information you voluntarily provide when communicating with us.

We seek to collect only information reasonably relevant to the applicable purpose.

7. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Under applicable Indian law, certain information may be treated as sensitive personal data or information, including information relating to passwords, financial information, health conditions, medical records, sexual orientation and biometric information.

Trajectory does not ordinarily require such sensitive information from Website visitors for the normal operation of this Website.

Because our products may relate to comfort, travel, seating, sleep or ergonomic use, customers may occasionally disclose health-related information while communicating with us.

Please avoid submitting medical records, detailed medical histories or other sensitive information unless reasonably necessary for a specific request.

Trajectory does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment through this Website.

Where sensitive personal information is intentionally collected by us, we will process it in accordance with the requirements of applicable law, including applicable requirements concerning purpose, consent, disclosure, security and retention.

8. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT THROUGH WEBSITE CHECKOUT

Because Trajectory does not currently operate consumer checkout through www.trajectoryindia.com, we do not ordinarily collect through Website checkout:

  • complete credit-card numbers;

  • complete debit-card numbers;

  • UPI PINs;

  • banking passwords;

  • internet-banking login credentials;

  • marketplace passwords;

  • Amazon passwords;

  • Flipkart passwords;

  • OTPs used to authorise payments; or

  • other payment authentication credentials.

Do not send such information to Trajectory through email, WhatsApp, telephone, social media or Website forms.

When you make a purchase through a Third-Party Marketplace, payment and transaction information may instead be collected by that marketplace and/or its authorised payment providers.

9. INFORMATION WE MAY RECEIVE FROM THIRD-PARTY MARKETPLACES

Trajectory may operate as a brand, seller, vendor or commercial partner on Third-Party Marketplaces.

A marketplace may therefore make certain information available to us in accordance with its own systems, policies and seller arrangements.

Depending upon the marketplace, seller model and fulfilment arrangement, such information may relate to:

  • product sales;

  • orders;

  • inventory;

  • fulfilment;

  • shipment status;

  • returns;

  • replacements;

  • cancellations;

  • customer-service matters;

  • reviews and ratings;

  • product feedback;

  • seller-performance information;

  • marketplace advertising;

  • conversion or attribution information;

  • sales reports;

  • invoicing or accounting information; and

  • other marketplace operational information.

The precise information available to Trajectory is controlled by the relevant marketplace and may differ between platforms and fulfilment arrangements.

Where information is made available to us, we may use it for marketplace operations, inventory planning, accounting, product-quality monitoring, customer support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, marketplace compliance, advertising analysis and business analysis.

Receiving limited information from a marketplace does not mean that Trajectory controls that marketplace's independent collection or processing activities.

10. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you visit our Website, Trajectory and/or technology providers used by the Website may automatically collect certain technical and usage information.

This may include:

  • IP address;

  • browser type and version;

  • operating system;

  • device type;

  • device or browser identifiers;

  • network information;

  • referring website or source;

  • approximate location inferred from IP address;

  • navigation behaviour;

  • advertising or campaign source;

  • Website interactions;

  • Website performance information;

  • error or diagnostic information; and

  • cookie or similar identifiers.

This information may be collected using cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies.

11. SHOPIFY

Our Website is powered by Shopify.

Shopify provides technology and infrastructure used to host and operate the Website.

Although we do not currently use our Website to complete direct consumer product sales, Shopify and related technologies may process technical information when visitors access the Website.

Such information may include device, browser, network, IP-address and Website-interaction information.

Shopify's independent processing of information is governed by its applicable privacy notices, policies and contractual arrangements.

12. META, FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM ADVERTISING

Trajectory advertises or may advertise products through services operated by Meta Platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

Where enabled, our Website may use technologies including:

  • Meta Pixel;

  • Meta Business Tools;

  • advertising tags;

  • conversion measurement;

  • advertising attribution; and

  • similar advertising technologies.

These technologies may assist us in understanding actions taken after a person views or interacts with an advertisement.

For example, we may measure whether a visitor:

  • visited our Website;

  • viewed a product page;

  • viewed a particular product;

  • clicked a marketplace purchase button;

  • interacted with a Website feature; or

  • completed another configured Website event.

Depending upon our technology configuration, your browser settings, consent choices and applicable law, certain technical identifiers and Website-interaction information may be transmitted to Meta.

We may use such information to:

  • measure advertising effectiveness;

  • understand which advertisements generate Website visits;

  • measure campaign attribution;

  • improve advertising campaigns;

  • understand audience engagement;

  • conduct remarketing or retargeting where permitted;

  • reduce irrelevant advertising;

  • measure product interest; and

  • perform marketing analysis.

Meta independently processes information in accordance with its own privacy policies, terms and platform settings.

13. OTHER ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS TECHNOLOGIES

We may use other advertising, analytics, attribution or Website-performance services in addition to Meta.

Where implemented, such technologies may process information including:

  • IP address;

  • browser information;

  • device information;

  • referral source;

  • page views;

  • clicks;

  • Website events;

  • marketplace-link interactions; and

  • cookie or advertising identifiers.

We may also use marketplace attribution or campaign-tracking technologies to understand whether Website or advertising activity contributes to visits or purchases on a Third-Party Marketplace.

This section does not mean that every analytics or advertising technology is necessarily installed or active on our Website at all times.

14. THIRD-PARTY MARKETPLACE LINKS

Our Website may contain links to Third-Party Marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart and other platforms.

When you click such a link, you leave the Website environment controlled by Trajectory.

The applicable marketplace may independently collect or process information including:

  • name;

  • mobile number;

  • email address;

  • marketplace account information;

  • delivery address;

  • billing information;

  • payment information;

  • device information;

  • browsing activity;

  • order information;

  • transaction information;

  • cancellation information;

  • return or replacement information; and

  • refund information.

Trajectory does not control the independent privacy practices of such platforms.

You should review the privacy policy and applicable terms of the Third-Party Marketplace before providing information or completing a purchase.

15. ORDERS, PAYMENTS, SHIPPING, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Trajectory does not currently operate consumer checkout through www.trajectoryindia.com.

Where a visitor is redirected to a Third-Party Marketplace:

Order placement occurs through the marketplace.

Payment processing is performed by the marketplace and/or its authorised payment provider.

Order management occurs through the marketplace.

Shipping and delivery are governed by the marketplace and its applicable fulfilment arrangements.

Cancellations are handled through the marketplace.

Returns and replacements are administered under the marketplace's policies and systems.

Refunds are processed through the marketplace and/or its applicable payment mechanism.

For matters relating specifically to:

  • order status;

  • payment;

  • delivery;

  • shipment tracking;

  • cancellation;

  • return;

  • replacement;

  • refund status; or

  • marketplace transaction records,

you should use the Website, application, account interface or customer-support mechanism of the marketplace through which the purchase was completed.

Trajectory may separately assist with appropriate matters concerning:

  • product information;

  • product specifications;

  • product-quality feedback;

  • authenticity concerns;

  • product-safety concerns;

  • manufacturing-related concerns;

  • brand matters; and

  • intellectual-property matters.

Trajectory does not provide a separate voluntary, manufacturer, extended or commercial product warranty.

Depending upon configuration, these technologies may include:

Strictly Necessary Technologies

Used for essential Website functionality, security and basic technical operation.

Functional Technologies

Used to remember preferences and improve usability.

Analytics Technologies

17. COOKIE AND TRACKING CHOICES

Where applicable or made available, you may use our Website's cookie or privacy-preference interface to control certain non-essential technologies.

You may also configure your browser to:

  • block cookies;

  • delete existing cookies;

  • restrict third-party cookies; or

  • provide notifications when cookies are stored.

Restricting cookies may affect Website functionality or our ability to measure Website performance.

Platforms such as Meta may provide separate privacy and advertising-preference controls through their own services.

Where consent is legally required for a particular technology, we will take reasonable steps to obtain or respect such consent in accordance with applicable law.

Where applicable law requires consent for the collection, use, disclosure or transfer of particular information, including sensitive personal information, we will seek such consent in the manner required by law.

Information collected for a particular purpose will not knowingly be used for an unrelated purpose unless:

  • you provide appropriate consent;

  • such use is reasonably necessary and permitted by law; or

  • another lawful basis or legal obligation applies.

Where consent is legally capable of being withdrawn, you may communicate withdrawal to us using the contact details set out below.

Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide the particular service or response for which the information was required.

20. DATA MINIMISATION

We seek not to collect information that is unnecessary for the purpose for which we are interacting with you.

In particular, because consumer purchases are completed through Third-Party Marketplaces, Trajectory does not require Website visitors to provide payment authentication information.

Never send us:

  • CVV;

  • UPI PIN;

  • card PIN;

  • banking password;

  • payment OTP;

support@trajectoryindia.com

Opting out of optional marketing does not prevent communications reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to an enquiry;

  • administer an existing business relationship.

23. WE DO NOT OPERATE A PERSONAL-DATA SALES BUSINESS

Trajectory does not operate a business whose purpose is to sell personal information to unrelated third parties for monetary consideration.

Advertising technologies may, however, involve transmission of technical identifiers or Website-interaction information to advertising platforms for purposes such as:

  • advertising measurement;

  • attribution;

  • campaign optimisation;

  • audience measurement; or

  • advertising personalisation where permitted.

Where applicable law requires notice, consent or choice in relation to such processing, we will take appropriate measures.

24. THIRD-PARTY PRIVACY PRACTICES

Third-party services, including Amazon, Flipkart, Meta, Shopify and other technology or marketplace providers, maintain their own privacy practices.

Trajectory does not control information independently processed by a third party outside our control.

The inclusion of a marketplace button, integration or link does not mean that Trajectory controls that third party's privacy policy.

You should review the relevant third party's privacy information where appropriate.

25. SOCIAL MEDIA

Trajectory may maintain social-media accounts on services including Facebook and Instagram.

If you interact with us through a social-media service, both Trajectory and the platform may process information relating to that interaction.

The platform's independent processing is governed by its own privacy policy and settings.

Information posted publicly through social media may be visible to other users.

You should avoid publicly disclosing confidential or sensitive personal information.

26. REVIEWS, TESTIMONIALS AND USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT

If you voluntarily provide Trajectory with a:

  • review;

  • testimonial;

  • photograph;

  • video;

  • product feedback; or

  • other content,

we may process that information for the purpose for which it was submitted.

Where identifiable customer content is proposed to be used separately for advertising or promotional purposes and additional permission is required by applicable law, we will obtain such permission where required.

we may collect information including:

  • name;

  • organisation;

  • designation;

  • business email address;

  • telephone number;

  • business location;

  • nature of enquiry;

  • commercial requirements; and

We may use and retain such information to:

  • secure platforms;

  • software maintenance;

  • cybersecurity controls;

  • internal access restrictions;

  • vendor controls;

  • monitoring; and

  • information-security procedures.

No electronic transmission or information-storage method is completely secure.

Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You should never transmit financial credentials, passwords or highly confidential information through unsecured or inappropriate communication channels.

29. SECURITY INCIDENTS AND DATA BREACHES

Where we become aware of a security or personal-data incident affecting information for which Trajectory is responsible, we may take reasonable steps to:

  • investigate the incident;

  • contain it;

  • mitigate its effects;

  • remediate vulnerabilities; and

  • preserve appropriate records.

Where applicable law requires notification to a governmental authority, regulator, affected individual or other person, we will comply with the applicable legal requirements.

30. DATA RETENTION

Trajectory will not knowingly retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or another lawful purpose.

Relevant considerations may include:

  • purpose of collection;

  • ongoing customer or business communication;

  • legal obligations;

  • accounting and tax obligations;

  • marketplace requirements;

  • security and fraud prevention;

  • dispute resolution;

  • limitation periods;

  • legal claims; and

  • regulatory requirements.

Where information is no longer required, we may take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise, aggregate or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law.

Third-Party Marketplaces and other independent service providers determine their own retention practices for information independently processed by them.

31. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF INFORMATION

You may contact us if personal information that you directly provided to Trajectory is inaccurate or incomplete.

Subject to applicable law, reasonable verification and technical feasibility, we may permit you to:

  • review information you provided to us;

  • request correction of inaccurate information; or

  • request amendment of deficient information.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of information supplied by you.

For information held independently by Amazon, Flipkart or another Third-Party Marketplace, requests should be submitted to that marketplace.

32. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

Where we rely on consent and applicable law permits consent to be withdrawn, you may request withdrawal by contacting us at:

support@trajectoryindia.com

Withdrawal does not invalidate processing lawfully undertaken before withdrawal.

Where the information was necessary to provide a requested service or response, withdrawal may mean that we are unable to continue that service.

Information may still be retained or processed where required or permitted by applicable law.

33. REQUESTS CONCERNING DELETION OR ERASURE

You may request deletion of personal information directly provided to or controlled by Trajectory.

We will assess such requests subject to:

  • applicable law;

  • verification of identity;

  • legal retention obligations;

  • accounting requirements;

  • fraud-prevention requirements;

  • existing disputes;

  • legal claims; and

  • technical feasibility.

A request to Trajectory does not automatically delete information independently held by Amazon, Flipkart, Meta, Shopify or another third party.

Requests concerning information controlled independently by such third parties should be submitted directly to them.

34. CHILDREN'S INFORMATION

The Website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to solicit personal information from children.

We do not knowingly seek unnecessary personal information from children through the Website.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has submitted personal information directly to Trajectory without appropriate authority, contact:

support@trajectoryindia.com

We will review the matter and take appropriate steps.

As statutory provisions concerning processing of children's digital personal data become applicable to us, we will implement additional measures required by applicable law.

35. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING AND TRANSFERS

Some technology, Website-hosting, advertising, analytics, communications and marketplace service providers may operate infrastructure or personnel outside India.

As a result, information may in certain circumstances be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside India.

Where Trajectory transfers personal information, including sensitive personal information where applicable, we will do so subject to applicable Indian law and any applicable legal conditions concerning such transfers.

Third-party providers may also process information independently under laws applicable to their own operations.

36. AGGREGATED AND ANONYMISED INFORMATION

We may aggregate, de-identify or anonymise information for purposes including:

  • Website analysis;

  • advertising analysis;

  • product analysis;

  • business planning;

  • product development;

  • market research; and

  • performance reporting.

Where information has been genuinely anonymised so that an individual cannot reasonably be identified, it may no longer be treated as personal information under applicable law.

37. LEGAL REQUESTS AND PROTECTION OF RIGHTS

We may preserve, use or disclose information where reasonably necessary and permitted by law to:

  • comply with applicable law;

  • respond to a lawful court order;

  • respond to regulatory or governmental requirements;

  • investigate fraud;

  • investigate cybersecurity threats;

  • protect individuals;

  • enforce agreements;

  • protect intellectual-property rights;

  • establish or exercise legal claims; or

  • defend legal proceedings.

Where reasonably appropriate, we will seek to limit disclosures to information relevant to the applicable purpose.

38. BUSINESS TRANSFERS

If Trajectory becomes involved in a genuine:

  • merger;

  • acquisition;

  • investment;

  • financing;

  • corporate restructuring;

  • reorganisation;

  • sale of assets; or

  • transfer of all or part of its business,

relevant information may be disclosed to appropriate transaction participants or transferred as part of that transaction to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any such processing remains subject to applicable legal obligations.

40. FUTURE DPDP RIGHTS AND COMPLIANCE

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 have been notified with staggered commencement dates.

As additional substantive provisions become applicable to Trajectory, this Privacy Policy and our internal processes may be updated to implement applicable requirements relating to matters such as:

41. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time because of changes in:

  • applicable law;

  • regulatory requirements;

  • our Website;

  • our business model;
